Why is our dog suddenly went blind? Blindness Canine – HELP!?
Our vision of the dog is quickly becoming a disability. Happening as in the last days. It does seem to have other symptoms. She has 9 and basic blood tests say she is healthy. He said his thyroid gland was a little off so it is on a thyroid supplement. She has been on the raw food diet for about a year and developed diahrrea consistent, after trying the probiotics for about a week, we changed back to Science Diet sensitive stomach. Probiotics have worked yet it was upon them, but when we stopped giving them to her, would diahrrea. Why is it expeiencing blindness? Would a panel of Basic blood collecting any problems glucose / insulin? Anybody have expeience with SARD? It does not look white or cloudy in eyes – they look quite normal.
Have larger blood work done. Or get a second opinion. Have it checked for diabetes. Edit: I do not know what all the "basic blood tests pick up. Maybe that diabetes is detected with a blood test further. You should ask your vet all these questions.
